The Music

One of the hidden charms of this movie is the only screen appearance (as far as I know) of the great violinist Stephane Grapelli, who can be seen in a number of shots during the opening party sequence.

The music, composed by mandolin player David Grisman, can be heard in its entirety on the CD Grapelli/Grisman live, an excellent concert disc.

Does Grisman dominate this movie's soundtrack? What's the title of the music/album please? Also, do you know the title for Reinhardt's music at the end credits?

Can anyone list the tracks for the soundtrack of this movie please?

By Grapthar's Hammer.......what a savings.

Hopefully, the 1981 King Biscuit performance of Grappelli and Grisman will be put up on the Wolfgang's Vault website. I've been looking for the soundtrack LP for this film since I heard that King Biscuit show....(but I did set up the on-stage heaters at Paul Masson that are shown on the cover of the Grappelli & Grisman album....lucky me, thanks again, Bruce!!)
