~Very tRUE-One of her BEst* for such a delicate/sensitive Age-though!!!!!!!.......I had a REALLY hard time Watching some scenes though(Her Nude & some of Her Dialouge)-Just so Uncomfortable!!!!!!! ;< I can See The st*RONG Debates of Controversy -on this Film.......then & NOW!! I love you once, I love you twice, I love you more than beans and rice!
I love that line, and it grows on me more the more I hear it. It appears to have originated with this film, right? I have never heard that line elsewhere.

As for Brooke, she's surprisingly good here. Much better than in her later films like "Blue Lagoon" and "Endless Love." I credit Louis Malle, though of course Brooke was amazingly confident here. I wish she had worked with better directors later in her career.

It is deeply disturbing that anyone is sexually interested in an old lady like Brooke Shields! Imdb should report his IP to the police for potential elder abuse.
