We need you guys on the TV Land boards

Hey guys,

If you don't normally post on the boards over there, please do so and show your support for Benson. There is strength in numbers but we all have to get on the same page to get anything accomplished.

I don't post on the TV Land boards, but I want to show my support for Benson.

TV Land used to be great, but lately it's become the same old rehashed crap. Every time I turn TV Land on, they're playing one of 5 shows. It's either some western, Sanford And Son, Andy Griffith, Good Times, Three's Company, or The Jeffersons. Really, when you have 24 hours to fill, doesn't it seem like you could put some variety on the air rather than the same old crap seven times a day?

Benson was a great show. I hadn't seen it since I was a young kid. When it aired for the entire weekend back in June, I watched almost the entire marathon. Then I would watch it every evening. Then it disapeared. I had to set my TiVo to catch the Tuesday afternoon and Friday night blocks.

Now, it's gone completely! Besides Benson, the only thing I watched on TV Land was I Pity The Fool. As much as I love Mr. T I won't be watching I Pity The Fool anymore, because I refuse to watch TV Land until Benson is back on the air.

It was a smart, well-written sitcom that didn't rely on stupid confusing situations every episode (Three's Company), or dumb catchphrases (Dy-NO-MYTE!) to make people laugh. Wise up, TV Land, and put a great show back on the air.

Hug It Out, Bitch!
