why did the mother wake up screaming "SHE WAS SHOT IN THE HEAD"

I assume that whatever was in the house made her dream about the DeFeo family murders. I'm guessing one of the family members was shot in the head while they slept.

Both Allison and Dawn Defeo..the daughters..were shot in the head. Everyone else was shot in the back.
