Jane Fonda

After not having seen this movie for quite a long time, I was utterly struck with how beautiful is Jane Fonda. She is certainly at her best in this film and it led the way for even more great films from her. I remember when this movie came out how impressive was her strength and courage... truly a wonderful role model for women who KNOW they can do more than fluff. Thanks, Jane, for being part of a terrific movie.

Jane Fonda has always been hot looking. Great actress. Check out "Klute" if you haven't seen it.

reply

Agree... I kept thinking thru the whole movie... "dang, she's hot!"

She ain't got a motor in the back of her Honda.

LOL. That was like Jane's 30th movie and you think that was the one the led her to even greater films. Your age is showing sweetheart.

I find it very hard to take her seriously because of the Hanoi Jane scandal. We can not forget how she betrayed the free world by supporting a communist country and not to mention playing with the NVA around a AA gun emplacement. A stab in the back for American pilots shot down or in POW camps. If I was an American I would call her behavior treason!

reply

thankfully you're not an american and therefore not qualified to judge her

reply

And neither are you.

reply

Yer right. What she did was unforgivable and will always be a black mark on her career.

Even worse is how she defended Michael Jacksons's sleeping with young boys!!
"who are we to judge?" 😁

You should watch Klute (1971) then (if you haven't already), where she also played an attractive, independent, and courageous woman.

Yes but beauty can be treacherous. As with said woman.

Jane Fonda and Faye Dunaway were the two most important and gifted actresses of that era; they are national treasures!
