Scream Factory Blu-Ray.............. ...

Just got around to watching it this rainy Saturday. It was awesome. The movie looks and sounds great. Although the extras are a bit light, they are fun to watch.

This is actually a very underrated movie. It's not Star Wars caliber, but you have to admire what they were able to achieve. The sets, costumes and Hector are all well done. Yes, some of the miniature and blue screen work, is a little off. Considering it was a very low budget film, they did a pretty good job.

Too bad they didn't dig up the deleted scene of Hector basically ripping Harvey Keitel up.

What is the movies running time on this edition? I have the DVD from 10 years ago and only goes 1hr and 28min. If its a longer cut or at least has most of the deleted scenes I might pick it up.

The Scream Factory blu ray has a feature runtime of 87min. There is a deleted scene on the disc called "Deleted Ecstasy Scene" that takes place after they Blue Dreamers are consumed that is of good quality and features Farrah in what looks like a black and silver dominatrix outfit. There are some other deleted scenes from the television version that are of dubious quality and looked like they were transferred from a VHS tape.

I purchased the Shout! Factory release from a vendor for twenty-five bucks at the latest Chiller Con in New Jersey.
