The artwork looks uncannily like it was made in the earlier 2010s.... Could have been for Oblivion, Pacific Rim or something alike. Does anyone know if this is something new they put on the old film, or were those designers really ahead of their time? I mean the blue-ish poster with the robot suit....

This is the original poster art. It was plastered all over the bus stops, buses, subways, newspapers, etc., back in 1980.

I'd say, it's great advertising. I also like the tagline. Way ahead of it's time. The movie is entertaining, nothing great, but I ordered my copy on Blu-Ray. Can't wait to see it again.
