SATURN 3 is more like a sci-fi monster movie
If you really think about it, SATURN 3 is more like a futuristic, sci-fi MONSTER movie set in the future, in space. Autonomous robot, Hector, acts more like a mechanical Yeti abominable snowman.
I can think of a scarier Hector if the producers had decided to create a large, humanoid-looking android. Maybe that might work better for a remake.
