Under the trivia for Saturn 3 it says that there was a score for the film but that it wasn't used and only the beginning and ending have any music. I just watched this on cable this morning and it had music throughout. Are there different versions?

The Friends of Eddie Coyle needs to be released on DVD!

There is a different version that has been broadcasted on NBC, twice. One where there is no music during the beginning credits. Which is most odd.

Large sections of the original film were cut as were large sections of the score. The soundtrack CD has 62 minutes of music....much more than what was in the film.

Is the CD with the extra music worth seeking out? I thought the score here was terrific.
