Does anyone remember a band in the 1990's called "Hector, A Giant Robot Gone Mad!!!" ?
They were from Illinois I think, and they kicked ASS!! I can't seem to find much information about them on the Internet. I assume they took their name from this movie.

They were 90's Indie high school blues/hard rock. And yes, they were BAD ASS!!

I couldn't agree more. In fact, I would go so far as to say that they were...the best...band...ever?
