Still holds up
Today in my New American Cinema class, we watched this movie. I had already seen it a handful of times and regard it as one of my favorite movies. In this class, there are about 150 students who usually seem less-than-enthusiastic about the movies we watch (even though they're great), but everyone seemed engaged with Kramer vs Kramer. Something about the story and acting performances seemed to resonate with the class. It was the first time I noticed anyone really comment about a film after it was showed and start a class discussion. I think that is a testament to how good this movie is.
