Anyone know how "true" the judge's decision was? Now? (SPOILERS, DUH)
I remember seeing this in 1979, when it came out, and asking my parents about it. They said that it was true - the mother was supreme. Even in the face of abandonment like that, the mom still wins.
Which of course is ridiculous and inane. "Oh, I was lost, but I found myself, and now I'm ready to be a mother again."
Was that really true then? And is it really true now? Would it be the same outcome nowadays with a case like this? I hope not.
I want the doctor to take your picture so I can look at you from inside as well.
