Ending reminded me of Blade Runner: The Director's Cut
Finally seen Kramer vs Kramer after all these years. The elevator scene / door closes / credits reminded me of Blade Runner. I wonder if Ridley was influenced by this movie somehow? (Seeing how he spliced in a scene from The Shining for the ending of the Theatrical Cut of Blade Runner...)
