I had a teen mag in the early eighties
which had a huge article about Jim Bray, trying to make him into this hot dude, which, sorry to all the rabid Jim Bray fanatics out there, but he really was not.
I remember a follow up letter to the article which said repeatedly that not only was he cute but that "he was a real spunk.' This unfortunate choice of language didn't register with me at the time, though I always remembered it because of how weird it sounded.
So yeah. Jim Bray is a spunk!
