What happened to the baby?
I watched the episodes where Muriel was pregnant and it was a big deal that they had grown up daughters and that Muriel was of advanced maternal age, then I saw the episode where she had the baby, and it was a good one. But then I watched several episodes of the final two seasons and didnt see a baby, nor did they mention him. What happened? Did they send him to boarding school or ever explain why he didnt come on the show? I like the show, but like a lot of 80s shows, I am very bothered by the lack of continuity. Someone please explain.
