I've often wondered if the makers of the film Look Who's Talking took the idea from this show of having an adult voice what the baby is saying in his mind, which they did on this show with Muriel and Henry's baby, Andrew.

You never know possibly they did take the idea you know from the show. We will never know unless they do like a reunion or someone was to say something about it.

The "Look Who's Talking" idea did not originate with this show. There was a brief sitcom from 1960-1961 called "Happy" in which that was the entire premise, although I doubt anyone remembered it.
