Where can I find the 219 (200 and something) minute version of Heaven's Gate on DVD? Thanks in advance

criterion just released a 216 min version of the film which is ciminos new cut of the film. if im not mistaken i think that the mgm version of the film on dvd was 219 min but the criterion quality is far more superior to the mgm release. plus you get a new audio interview with cimino.

I believe the MGM DVD is the 219 minute version. But you should really get the Criterion DVD of the film. It's Cimino's cut (which is 216 minutes), and the transfer looks beautiful.

THANKS! The only problem is I'm region 2 so I'll have to buy a new player, which is quite cheap but still... I bought this one:
