Carson was Clifford's red haired friend. He famously warned Clifford about getting "hepatitis from the fresh ones" (boogers) under the desks on the first day of school.

Paul Quandt pulled off some of the best deadpan I've ever seen. What a face. I don't know about a genius, but he was definitely a talented young actor. I can't believe the guy only has a single credit to his name.
