John Amos was an extra?

I was watching this movie for the first time on netflix and noticed one of the inmates looks a lot like John Amos.

What does everyone else think? I don't see him credited anywhere. Mhhh. Maybe I'm crazy though.

Of course a younger Amos....since this was filmed in 1980.

No, I don't think that was John Amos, he looks a bit like O.J. Simpson to be honest.
