Lawrence Fishburne as one of the thugs/ rapists

I met Laurence Fishburne at a restaraunt in Venice Beach in 2002. It was right around the time the sequel to the Matrix was released. As he got up to go to the bathroom I ran into him and acted star struck and said "Oh my god. it's you from that movie (he was probably thinking I would say The Matrix) but what I said was "You were in that movie........Death Wish 2.

The look on his face was priceless and he burst into laughter. I smiled and he shook my hand and said "Now thats some funny *beep* man....have a good night"

In his long list of films that is probably the last one he thought anyone would bring up to him.....LOL

Seemed like a good guy too.
"You really jarred something loose there tiger"

Haha, thumbs up! Great story! Whenever I meet someone from movies, I always try to mention one of their most obscure films to them. They're usually pretty flattered by it, since they're accustomed to getting asked about the same ones over and over.

Prostitute: What the *beep* are you doing?
Johnny: I'm gonna kill a bunch of people.

That is awesome. :D

That is awesome. I think I would have went with one of his childhood roles as my "recognizing" who he is: "Hey! Aren't you........Josh Hall from Guiding Light?" (or "Me", from "Cornbread, Earl, and Me")

Lol, I hope so. I'd buy them from him if he put them on ebay or something like that, as long as his price wasn't too ridiculous.

I met Ed Harris once and had a similar conversation with him. I told him I loved his movies, especially...Creepshow.
