Who is the singer (or band) in the movie, singing the "Endless Love" song? She sounds better than Lionel Ritchie/Dianna Ross version of it.

The singer is the woman that Keith introduces as "Susan" to his parents at the beginning of the party. "Susan" is played by actress Jamie Bernstein. Hope this helps. :)

Funny that you brought that up. I saw this in July of 1981 not long after it came out in a theater in downtown Philadelphia back when there were actually a lot of movie theaters.(Not one in center city anymore all in the Society Hill section and in a few neighborhoods)Well when she starts singing the song "Endless Love" a female yells out "Caint compaya to Diana" Well next thing you know many in the theater start saying "right on, right on " and clapping. So I'm thinking no kidding Sherlock but shut up and let me hear the movie. I almost yelled out Diana can't compare to Barbara(Streisand) but I didn't want to start a race riot. I hope that didn't sound racist. When I saw Scary Movie and the girl in the theater starts talking all I could think of was that moment watching Endless Love.
