Current version on line is MUCH like the original version.
I saw this movie when it cam out in late 1981, at 14 years old. I again saw---and taped it a few years later. The tape was lost long ago somehow.
I found the tape that was made available for sale years ago. It was cut up SO bad...it was not really watchable !!
For years--I sought this on-line...but never could find the REAL version--other than a foreign language version.
FINALLY someone has the nearly full version out there. It is slightly over 3 hours long. MUCH better than that butchered version sold earlier. In fact...it looks nearly un-cut. MUCH easier to follow than the other one !!
