...about the new scenes having scratches etc. in the unrated version? Sure it might be a little distracting at first but I tihnk it adds to the creepiness, there's something about the colors that makes it looks kind of surreal.
shareI tried to find the blu ray for a fellow fan in the UK, but no luck. I was lucky enough to get the special edition on DVD for Christmas two years back and that was the first time I've seen the unrated version's cut scenes (other than youtube). I had no issue with the presentation, like you said - it totally adds to the overall grimness. I usually toss in my old VHS copy of Halloween while giving out candy as the analog format looks so great with it's pops and fizz.
