Outland + Capricorn One similarities:
There were two similarities between Capricorn One and Outland. One: the name of the big corporation; Con-Amalgamate. That was the company that made the failed life support system for Capricorn One. That was also the name of the "company" that was in charge of the mining colony in Outland. Two: It's an obscure similarity, but in Capricorn One, Dr. Kaloway talks about the conspiracy being in charge of "grown-ups". In Outland, Sheppard says something very simile to O'neil.
