Outland is a classic Sci-Fi movie, ranking up there with Blade Runner!
This is one of Connery's best films!
I have always liked this movie. The set is terrific, as is the cast and score.
Seeing it in Widescreen is a must.

Me too. Always loved the design, music and overall atmosphere of this one. Now if I could only find the soundtrack!

The soundtrack would be great (though missing the Ganymede track is a bit of a let-down).
I've been trying to find the font since forever. Any ideas? Actually, I've noticed that there are at least two main fonts; one for the titles/credits and one in the film, on the signs etc. Both are supposed to be the same, I'm sure, since I imagine they were probably custom made for the film, but are actually slightly different. I've searched font archives for about five years now, hoping someone had designed one. At this rate, looks like I'll have to make it myself (sigh)...
I agree with you all this film is wonderful. I actually knew one of the design people who worked on the design of the mining station itself. He gave me two large sheets that show the plan and elevation of the station, one even has hand written notes about the design. I have been trying to sell these on eBay but with no luck.
