Loved it from start to finish.
The production was great, the sets were excellent, and the CGI worked well.

Dr. Lazarus was pretty funny, in a dry sort of way.
Intriguing story, and very well executed in a film that was really well put together.

How was this not more popular? Since this was 1981, maybe everybody had Star Wars on their mind.

Highly recommended watch.

The only CGI I saw was some primitive 3D vector graphics on a med lab computer screen. The rendering engine didn't even do hidden-line removal. Just simple 3D to 2D projection.
