An eye for optical theory

In the late 90s, I was in a hotel room on business when I caught the last 45 minutes of this film and became incensed with it. I love everything about this film. It's an erotic, sinister puzzle that kept me thinking from beginning to end. The music is both it's friend and foe at the same time because it refuses to sit in the background.

It's the Restoration Period on crystal meth. It brings to mind Wycherley's The Country Wife in it's costumes, colloquialism and debauchery.
