When Sheriff asked Rambo "what do you hunt with a KNIFE.?"

To this day, anybody know for SURE how Rambo answered?

Don't be a wise guy...what do you hunt with a knife??????

My caption reads "Naimi". I looked up Naimi and the word was described as some kind of elk or moose native to the Pacific Northwest. (no joke)

Rambo:

"Naimi.."

"Name it.."

"Emu" (yes, this is actually in some versions of the caption. Clearly he doesn't say EMU, but why was this here? hahaha)

Any opinions?

He definitely says "name it". You can mishear it as "anything" and that still makes sense.

Never thought it was "emu" haha. That's funny.

Buckle up back there, we're going into... hyperactive

reply

Yes I have an old DVD version where the captions say "Emu". I posted that on other message boards and many people said their's said the same thing. hahahahah.

My current one says (exact spelling) "naimi". I would assume those who also have my dvd it will also say that? :)

I guess it also could be "name it" (as in just about anything).

Those Pacific Northwest emus are vicious woodland creatures.

And now that I have told you next time you watch it you will hear him say it and you will think oh yea that's it and it make sense now thanks Bear

reply

He says "name it" meaning whatever animal he has to eat or human he has to kill to survive

reply

I agree with Bearplaster1 I'm pretty sure he says "The enemy"

reply

I listened again and to me he says "name it". I don't think he would tell a sheriff who is already giving him a hard time "the enemy, just my opinion though.

reply

Just watched it tonight and he definitely says "name it".

reply

5 min ago, I watched this scene on my BluRay. Repeatedly.
Stallone mumbles something that sounds like "Emily"; the English subtitle reads "everything". The German subtitle ("alles") agrees with the English one.

Name it.
