Imo its in the top 5 of the 80's, it has everything you could want in a slasher movie, it has tits and ass everywhere, you got the classic escaped lunatic on the loose killing everyone with a cool weapon, girls in their underwear, awesome gore effects, limbs being hacked off. Its got a short run time so it gets to the point really quick and theres not any slow parts in the movie.

That shower scene is legendary, just pure gratuitous nudity, full camera pans up and down making sure you see the girls entire body's, and we just stay in that shower scene for ages just watching them soap up and rinse off, its amazing.

If someone's never seen a slasher movie before and wants to start watching them i'd tell them to watch Slumber Party Massacre, cause its got everything a slasher movie should have in it and it does it perfectly.

My one and only gripe with the movie is we don't get to see Jackie's tits, her tits looked fucking amazing, all natural giant titties, such a shame they was never shown. But they looked damn good in that little night gown bouncing everywhere when she ran.

I wasn't too big a fan the first time I watched this (Fuck knows why...though I always watch movies drunk which meddles with my perceptions. Adds to my fickleness.) However on a rewatch I'm all aboard the fandom. So much fun.

As you said this is what you want from a slasher.
