Snail tie?
I recall a film like this were a boy (could be Ralphie) receives a dud gift of a neck tie with a snail on it.
At some point later the boy has a nightmarish surreal dream and the tie and snail are
grossly exaggerated. Possibly not this film but is there any recall of this out there?
