What is your favorite part of the movie?

It’s 5:30am EST and the Old Man is opening his “fra-gee-lay” box! Merry Christmas you marathon folk!

My favorite part of the movie is the ending— when they’re eating in the Chinese restaurant, then the parents are sitting in the dark together drinking wine in front of the Xmas tree and watching the snow fall. Little Ralphie and Randy are happily sleeping, holding onto their beloved gifts. Ok, so that’s a few scenes, not one, but I love the entire ending!

What are your favorite parts?

I like when Ralphie's mom accidentally breaks the leg lamp and her husband declares, "You used up all the glue on purpose!"

christmas tree haggling!

Yep, the old man was as shrewd as an Arab trader.

When Ralphie beats the crap out of Scut Farkus followed by them visiting Santa or Ralphie saying "Fudge"

When Ralphie realizes his mom is going to cover for him, in front of the old man, for fighting the bully.

Ralphie copping a feel from the lamp twice, hes as mesmerized as his father lol.

When they're visiting Santa Claus.

I always liked the scene when the kids lie/sit on the floor to listen to Little Orphan Annie show on the radio. There's a nice, nostalgic feel to it.

When even SANTA says "You'll shoot your eye out, kid!" I'll never forget the first time I saw the movie and I fell out. The perfect end to that sequence in the film.
