Regarding Monty's Basement Beer Drinking Buddies

Do you think that along with old pals Nicky-the-Plumber, Louie-the-Bartender and Paddy, the apparent "token" Irish-American guy in the group, Monty also invited his former Staten Island neighbor, Bill Jones, to join him and the boys at "Mother" Monahan's posh Westchester County, N.Y. or Morris County, N.J. estate for a nightly no-holds bacchanal?

Jeff Altman, who portrayed Monty's pot-loving neighbor with the zaftig wife, is one of the singularly unfunniest comedians/actors around, imo. Thankfully/Mercifully, Jeff Altman/Bill Jones had only one scene in "Easy Money." And, that one scene was about as "amusing" as an Anson Williams comedic "highlight" on the truly "unforgettable" t.v. series, "Happy Days." Blah!

It's funny that you think Rodney is funny but not Jeff Altman, considering Jeff Altmen for years wrote jokes for Rodney.

There's a saying in the legal profession: "Those who can, practice law. Those who can't, teach first year civil procedure." Well, I guess that Jeff Altman can write funny jokes, but he can't deliver them the way that the late, great Mr. Dangerfield did with great ability. Besides, Rodney was enormously likable, both as a stand-up comedian and as a film actor. Neither of which, Jeff Altman has been during his career.
