Truck and train drivers are CRAZY PSYCHOS

The other explanation is that trucks and trains in movies don't have brakes installed, but horns instead.

WhenEVER there's a truck or train coming straight at you, like the white truck in this movie, when Clark is driving on the wrong lane, trying to race the F40-Blonde. This driver doesn't slam the brakes, doesn't slow down, doesn't try to avoid hitting this crazy driver.

All these truck and train drivers _EVER_ do, instead of braking and avoiding, is HONK THE DAMN HORN, and that's it. Nothing more is done.

I wish I could cross-post this to all movie forums ever, because it happens in so many movies, but here are a few examples off the top of my head:

- Planes, Trains and Automobiles - the two truck drivers that for some reason drive PARALLEL (what kind of sense does that make, traffic-wise, etc..?) never slow down, brake or try to avoid hitting the crazy driver in the middle of the two wrong lanes...

- Stand by Me - lots of crazy train drivers that just honk the horn and don't slow down when there are CLEARLY kids on the track. Why not use the brake? I know trains brake slowly, but they still do brake. What the heck?

You can probably easily find more... I just want to know the reason. Could it be that the moviemakers never thought of this particular reality? They just wanted to write our heroes in trouble, and not consider that the 'force majeur' might actually look like certified psychopath when they do that with trucks and trains.
