Wargames Memory

I worked at a movie theater in Florida when this movie came out. We had a special promotion where you had to have an invitation which were given out to select companies and VIPs of our theater company (name withheld). It was really quite an event.

During that showing, I was standing in the back of the theater with a co-worker when one of the character asks "what's the WOPR?" My co-worker said rather loudly, "Two all beef patties, special sauce, letter, tomato and cheese. You wants fries with it?" The entire theater busted out laughing. My co-worker got fired (corporate big wigs don't have sense of humor), but it was a pretty funny moment.

I just watched this movie again over the weekend and that scene still cracks me up. Overall, this movie was well ahead of its time when you consider not many people had a home computer in 1983.

My memory foam pillow says it can't remember my face. I can tell its lying.
