Anyways, BACK to Discussing the SHOW and Not Cosby's Personal Life...

Surprised no other topics are actually discussing Cosby's TALENT, or the show itself. I keep reading all this crap about him raping women. This is IMDB- and we are supposed to discuss Bill Cosby's SHOW (Cosby Show) and NOT his stupid private life.

Anyways, I am surprised The Cosby Show (1985-1992) didn't win more acting Emmys. Cosby I think withdrew his name for consideration because of his wins for I Spy (70s), but still he should have won a few. He was very funny, and a great tribute to the African-American community.

Phylicia Rashad should also have won some awards- she was a bitch though. She made Rudy change dresses because of the season? I hated her after that.

OP I see what your saying and then I have to agree with Jnorgle thate are some good post about Bill or The Cosby Show on here. I've made some of those good post.

He instilled some of his beliefs into the show, which he got paid to do, so wouldn't that become a fair issue?

Drama is harder to do than comedy; Bill Cosby was wonderful to watch in "I Spy" and apart from a reference to his alma mater, he didn't put the educational and family values routine into his works until the 1970s, especially as he co-created those.

The guy was respectable with his laudable efforts, but drugging women for rape -- SMH...
