Why no wedding episodes?

With four daughters, three of whom got married, why not have a wedding episode? They had anniversary episodes but no weddings. They could have at least had a wedding for Sondra and Elvin.

Only Sondra and Denise got married. Vanessa was engaged but never got married on the show

No I don't. If anything, I'm glad they didn't have any wedding episodes, because, usually, whenever a sitcom has a wedding episode, there has to be something awry or chaos has to happen in order to generate the comedy.
