Why did Piggy hate everyone except Kermit

She was mean to Gonzo, Fozzie, Scooter, and Rowlf but she wasn't like that in the Muppets movies. She had a bad temper but she was nothing like she was here.

I never got it either and as a kid I really hated Piggy, I used to fantasize about all kinds of horrible things I wish somebody would've done to her for how much she treated everyone else like crap.

She was acting selfishly and hogging the attention of Kermit. She was being piggish.
