Favorite episodes by season?

I used to watch this with my mom but don't remember much. Rewatching episodes now. Just curious what everyone's favorite episode(s) for each season was?

I'm in S2 now and really like the Cabot Cove episodes WAY better than the big city or exotic episodes.

Help me find some gems!

Hi, dont know if anyone has answered you but I saw this bit on another message post: "I have been repeatedly watching the Season 2, Episode 22 episode, "If The Frame Fits". It's one I've seen before but watched again after a long while the other day. Now, I'm practically addicted to it. It just seems to be a quintessential M,SW episode." Maybe that is a start.

I would add Season 8's "Incident on Lot 7" and Season 9's "Proof in the Pudding" to the must-watch list.

There are few clunkers in the first five seasons; the early episodes are almost all excellent. Season 2's "Keep the Home Fries Burning" is a personal favorite, and you must check out "One Good Bid Deserves a Murder" if for no other reason than for the cameo appearance of Jean Vander Pyl, the voice of Wilma Flintstone, in the opening scene.
