I find it interesting that most of the stars from this show were on hit shows and movies, and then starred on this long running show.
Tony Danza, was from "Taxi".
Judith Light, was from "One Life To Live", (and was involved in one of the show's biggest storylines.)
Katherine Helmond, was from "Soap"
Danny Pintauro, "As the World Turns", and "Cujo".
Alyssa Milano, was in "Annie" on Broadway. Later went on to have a successful career, that is still very much going strong.
