Sad news today. George was great as Debbie's disgruntled father in this film. He died this morning in New York of complications from lung cancer at age 79.

You beat me to it. I just read about this in the newspaper. He did a great job in BP, very memorable. I bet he never knew the legion of fans he had just from this film. He actually had a long and varied acting career. RIP.
