R Rating?

Discuss the parts why it is Rated R
Dreamland is gonna rock!

Well, Nick the Dick puts it in a hod dog bun while the ladies are at a male strip show.

A lot of tits are shown.

Drugs kill a donkey. (was the stripper suppose to screw the donkey?)

There are too many rated r scenes for me to remember.

-About 300 nuditiy shots
-constant sexual humor and talk
-implied beastality
-direct drug use, including animals using drugs.

...not to mention a topless nun.

Well, there is nudity, like with the girl who tries to seduce Rick at the party. She is completely naked sitting on the bed. There is also dirty language and drugs. The raunchiness made it at R.

LOL HAHA

It's still only 14A in Canada.

What's with Americans hating on tits??

It's still only 14A in Canada.

Probably a sticker put up to get wider audience appeal.

Compared to films these days, this is not so bad. Especially compared to most films going for the R rating, like gory and violent as hell horror flicks.

The others already covered the reasons. So I won't ape them, but also this was before a PG-13 rating existed. PG-13 came out in '85.

But yeah, drug use, nudity, Nick the Dick, two strippers (off camera) using vibrators on each other....nuff said.

And I know what you're saying, why not an X (NC-17 hadn't existed yet).

Well it wasn't hardcore enough for an X rating. It was a mild R at best.
