What did you think of him in this? It still kind of blows me away that he became the American Ninja, considering his goofball performance in this, just a year before. Think it was a great decision casting him in "American Ninja", just seems like a totally different guy than the dude from "Bachelor Party". From watching this, you just wouldn't think that that guy is about to become a strong, silent James Dean-like action star.

See that guy over Tom's left shoulder in the poster, that's Dudikoff. His character, Ryko, is portrayed as a kind of dimwitted, athletic buddy of Hanks. Remember, Tom takes his friends to the restaurant Dudikoff works as a waiter at in the beginning, to tell them he's getting married.
I was like...wow they gave Joe (his name in American Ninja) some personality and a sense of humor. LOL
