Y is it on the tape version that john good man is at the end and on tv he gets killed and then it goes into when bosch is trying to get them out of the sewer. They do the same thing on jaws 4. Help!

The producers moved the "diner scene" with John Goodman to the end of the movie in the hopes of culling interest in a sequel (if they'd known CHUD 2 would be it, I'm sure they wouldn't have bothered) but the director had always intended, as had the writer, for that scene to be in the middle where the plot dictates it should be. So for the Anchor Bay dvd, that's where it is.
