Johnny's problem with Daniel stemmed from Ali but with Dutch, he was Johnny's best bud and i guess Dutch was being loyal but it seemed to be a bigger issue to me.
Dutch was coming to terms with his homosexuality and his feelings towards Daniel. This exacerbated his coke addiction, causing severe highs and lows.

In fact, it was Dutch who sought full revenge and wanted to waste Daniel completely. He's the ultimate bad-ass with a chip on his shoulder. But what makes him special and the meanest son-of-a-bitch is that he hates weakness and fake-asses, like Daniel. He exploits weakness and doesn't suffer punks gladly. Even Johnny began to doubt Kreese--Dutch never did.

I agree, out of all the Cobra Kai, Dutch was the one closest to Kreese's personality.
Even insane Tommy was shocked at Kreese's tactics, after the whole "Out of Commission" thing.
Dutch had a $2,000 a week coke habit. He was tweaking most of the time and Daniel looking like a heroin junkie probably set him off.
