How did Johnny get a Black eye!!!!

When a movie is filmed it is often filmed out of sequence. It could be that the dojo scene was shot before the Halloween fight scene, and who knows, maybe somebody changed the fight scene thinking it wouldn't look good seeing Miyagi striking Johnny in the face. Obviously as often happens with continuity, they forgot about him having a black eye for the dojo scene.
Just a theory of course, but then that's all we've got really.....theories.

Seriously, is no one in that dojo even partially sane? What was he going to do? Practise his maniacal laugh?

And Kreese doesn't think to ask why two of his pupils show up like an NFL player's wife? If Miyagi and Daniel hadn't walked in, would he just not care that his prize student and his lackey had obviously taken a beating? He seems like the kind of guy that would start each session by asking the boys for a kill count over the weekend.

He probably hit his eye running on the slick floor that Daniel made at the dance.

You know, the scene where Daniel destroyed Johnny's walkman and medicinal marijuana? Then Daniel causes a traffic accident and leaves the scene.


It was a sad movie. An all American hero like Johnny gets 'defeated' by a cheating punk and doesn't get back wit his ex.

This is explained in a deleted scene that only aired on TV. Kreese gave Johnny the black eye. When Kreese found out his prize student got beaten up in a street fight he got so enraged he punched Johnny in the face.

It is a similar scene like to the Karate Kid Part 2 when after Johnny lost to Daniel in the tournament.
