thanks for this...i read about the difficulties on set through the boards and trivia section...sad that lean chose to retire permanently...

He didn't retire. He died before making his next film.

It was a weird casting decision in an overall very good film. Guinness was being honest.🐭

Somewhat miscast, yes.

But not sickeningly awful. I think he is mildly amusing as that excentric old man.

Funny you say that. I found Guinness's accent less cringy than Victor Banerjee's. xD
