Should I read the book

I'm 15 and wondering if I should read the book? I've read A Room with a View and loved it and found it easy enough to read. I heard that Room with a View is Forster's most readable novel so is A passage to India too complex for someone of my age to 'get'. So far I'm around page twenty and it easy to understand (just had trouble with a few words like sahid and bazaar but I checked my dictionary and the problem was solved). I'll hate to read it and it to have no affect on me. I can already see how racism is an important theme on page twenty.

It's a great book, but it might take a few readings to get into it. I didn't really get it the first time, but the second time (after having seen the movie) I loved it.

"Why not? It's usually best."

Yes.. read it ... as well as E.M.Forster's other novels, especially: Where Angels Fear To Tread, Howard's End and Maurice.

All three of these wonderful novels were made into outstanding films, as well... I highly recommend reading/seeing all three.
