Good Writing, Phenomenal Acting, One of the Best Films of our Time.
I really enjoyed this film. Peggy Ashcroft gave one of the best performances I have ever seen. But Judy Davis and Alec Guiness were also exellent. I really was impressed by this film, and I wish I had seen it sooner. It was poignent and entertaining, something that you don't see often in modern day film. Even though the film is 22 years old, I really felt like I was watching a film from the 1940's or 1950's. One of the few movies that I give a perfect 10.
