Leo DiCaprio: then Luke, now Oscar winner

Nearly 25 years ago, he played Luke on the last season of the show.

Last week he won the Oscar for Best Actor in The Revenant.

And in between he's he become one of Hollyeood's brightest stars in some of the biggest hits, like What's Eating Gilbert Grape, The Departed, Inception, Titanic and The Wolf of Wall Street.

Do you think he knew then he would strike it this big?

I think he knew he would.

He always knew he could. But he never struck me as the type to revel in his own talent, which is why he is so successful.

If he had stayed on the show, his life would be different. There would have been no This Boy's Life and Gilbert Grape, and who knows where he would be.

He knew he could. Although he nearly wanted to quit after he made Titanic.
