RIP Boner!

I loved watching this show and the character Boner because it was hilarious to watch. He is one of the characters that I mainly remembered that was Mike's friend. He was hilarious too at times during this show when he was on there. It is a shame that he left the show to do other things.

As soon as I heard that he was missing and had been in a deep depression, I knew immediately that this was not going to turn out good, so I was prepared to hear it officially. Very sad. In between Andrew Koenig's death and just hearing about what happened with one of the producers, "Growing Pains" is really getting shook up right now.

I am sorry to hear that you were deeply depressed when he turned up missing. Yes it was not a good sign that when he did not turn up that it was not going to be a good thing. I bet you were prepared to hear it officially. Yes it is very sad to hear about. What happened to one of the producers of "Growing Pains"? I have not heard a thing about it!

That is why I felt when they did their first reunion I understand that they cannot have the entire cast that was on the show throughout the time that it ran for but I felt there were elements missing from the reunions I hate to say it that should have been a part of the reunion movies. I am just being honest here about it.

I was not deeply depressed, Andrew Koenig was deeply depresssed, according to his parents. Him missing along with his deep depression, I just knew it wouldn't be good. Even though I was prepared to hear it officially, I was still saddened. Also, talking about producer Steve Marshall, who was on talking quite a bit on the "E! True Hollywood Story" on "Growing Pains", I just saw today where he's going to jail for seven and a half years for child pornography. The details of his crime are very disturbing. I was quite shocked. He looked like a very decent person on the THS program. All this is making me think back to Tracey Gold's wreck a few years back. I hope nothing else bad happens with the "Growing Pains" cast and crew.

I am sorry if I misunderstood and read what you typed wrong. Yes it is sad about what is going on and possibly it could be start of a new curse I hate to say it. I notice that some shows that are created turn out to have some sort of strange occurances with the people on the show. Take a look at for example, "Different Strokes" how all of the child actors on that show could not land anymore jobs out in Hollywood. It is truely sad. That surprises me about the producer Steve Marshall but you never can tell about people these days. I hope nothing else happens either to the cast and crew of "Growing Pains".

Andrew Koenig was the son of actor Walter Koenig. He was best known as Boner on "Growing Pains". He was also a director, editor, writer, and human rights activist.

I knew about his father, but did not know about the other things he was doing though.
